The Abbeville Fete, International Handstand Day and Upbeat Summer Courses: Your weekly What’s On guide from NappyValleyNet

Last Updated on : 23rd June 2016

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Welcome to your weekly What’s On activity guide from NappyValleyNet!

Is it possible to suffer from S.A.D in the summer?  Maybe it’s even more likely than in the winter.  At least then we expect to wake up to grey day after grey day.  Not so in mid-June.  The Summer Solstice was more of a Summer Splashfest earlier this week and we’re all getting a little soggy around the edges.  Not to be defeated or d(r)own-trodden though, our calendar is full of bright and shiny summer fun, running from right now and stretching out over the school holidays.  A fair and a camp here, a museum and a play there, and somewhere, over the rainbow, there will be some sunshine.  So, thunder and lightening, you may think you’re very very frightening, but you try a house full of children struck down with cabin fever.  We just have to get out there, whatever the elements decide to do next.  So here’s what’s on, and please do keep adding to it so we can keep spreading the word. Location, location, location.  That’s what they say.  And never is that more important than if you’re thinking of schools at the same time as a move.  Catchment areas can be so crucial to your family’s next step on the property ladder, so make the most of our property section which we bring to you with PrimeLocation and four local agents, complete with the most up-to-date school catchment distances thanks to Lambeth and Wandsworth councils.  (click here)
