The Abbeville Fete, Jo Alexander’s Pop-Up Garden Furniture Shop and half term fun: Your What’s On guide from NappyValleyNet

Last Updated on : 27th May 2016

Dear NappyValleyNetter,

Welcome to your weekly What’s On activity guide from NappyValleyNet!

With more consistent sunshine warming our bones, the summer fair season upon us, the Queen’s 90th celebrations in our sights and half term just around the corner, we’ve well and truly bedded in to the ‘Summer Season’.   Not only are we all busy planning half term entertainment, but that long summer holiday is bubbling away in the corners of our minds. Cricket has taken over our commons, cyclists, runners and trainers are out in force, and the great green spaces are at times overrun with over-excited children and parents (at times also over-worked, over-stretched, over-tired), trying to keep up the pace. Why not spend your weekends trying to adopt that blissful, carefree attitude lived out so well by our offspring? Soak up the feeling of summer and let the good times roll.  Be sure to have all the local fetes, fairs and street parties in your sights.  Our calendar is packed with ideas, whether you’re looking for culture, exercise, fun in the sun, ways to entertain the children or a quiet corner in which to collapse.  Take a look every now and then to make your life just that little bit easier. On the move?  Start your search here.  We’ve got homes for sale and to rent in the area with school catchments all mapped out, so if you key in the postcode you want and then pick the school you have your eye on from the drop-down menu, all the homes within its catchment will come to you.  With thanks to Lambeth and Wandsworth councils!
