Rob Ody, Head of Boys’ Physical Education and Games, said: “It is a fine achievement for our boys and girls and we are very proud of them.”

One of the country’s leading co-educational schools, Alleyn’s offers an extensive Sport & Games programme which includes girls’ cricket as an integral part of the curriculum. Alleyn’s is also seeing girls increasingly access the sport on a co-curricular basis, resulting in the school fielding a number of mixed cricket teams in the U12 to U15 categories every weekend.

On top of the U12 London Cup win, the School’s Under 13 and Under 15 cricketers have also qualified for their respective finals, due to take place in the coming days.
