Hello families! My name is Eva Alfonso and I'm 33 years old. I'm from Spain but I've been living in London for over two years working as a nanny.
Following a short period working as a nursery assistant at a day nursery in Clapham, I started working for my current family in January 2013. My charge is a little boy who has just turned 4 and is about to start school in September - as a result my job will come to an end in August.
I have enjoyed working for my current family enormously - it's been great to see their little boy grow and thrive and I'd like to think I have played a major role in his well-being and development. I've been responsible for taking him to nursery, preparing his meals, organising playdates and, most importantly, playing, drawing, reading with him and taking him to fun places all around London.
I am now looking for a new position as a part time nanny, starting in September. Although I am now a confident English speaker, I am keen to improve it further and therefore I would like to dedicate part of my day to study.
I am looking for a family that needs around 25 hours of child care a week, ideally in the afternoons but I am flexible. As I live in Colliers Wood, I am particularly interested in positions available in the surrounding areas (Tooting, Mitcham, Wimbledon). It might suit a family looking for a bit of help around the house while the kids are at school (preparing their meals, organising their clothes, etc) and a few hours of after school care, and maybe some occasional babysitting.
I'm a very warm and loving person, totally reliable, organised and enthusiastic. I am also very flexible and would be happy to consider other working patterns/times.
I have excellent references and my current employer would be very happy to talk to any prospective families about my skills and work ethic.
If you think I am the nanny you are looking for please get in touch.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best wishes
Eva
