Mmmm.
Sunday 31st sept 2014 is when we'd be back.
It's a bit close if she starts on the 1st.
Oh well. I'd better get used to travelling in term times.
Thanks

They used to have a 'staggered start' for the reception classes at the beginning of September but this year it changed and they plan to continue this way. Basically your child will be in for a few hours /half a day for the the first couple of days of term and then straight in all day after that. Basically I wouldn't book any holiday after the official start date of term (you can get that off the council's website).

Hi.

I hope your daughter's enjoying "big" school so far.
I'm trying to get an idea for start dates 2014.
I know they may change each year but is it... The 1st? The 1st wed of sept or someone told me it was the 14th?
I email the school and they said the 1st.
Then the lady next door said her children started on the 3rd!
It's only because I'm trying to book a holiday.

Kind regards
Leanne
