We have recently looked at them all and ended up at Sticky Fingers which we are pretty happy with ( only takes from 18 months). SF is a busy happy environment for the children. It is a huge leap from a childminders (for the children and the parents!!) , but at 2 my child was ready for the move into a more hectic environment!
Our second favourite and I probably would've gone there if we had lived nearer was Mayfield up at Springfield hospital. They have the added bonus of a 7.30 drop off. There is a good outside space and separate rooms for the different age groups and separate sleeping rooms ( which from memory was the only local nursery I saw that had this I think).
Magdelen was nice, cute outside area, lovely friendly staff but expensive if you aren't full-time and the rooms are quiet small for the ratio of children they have in there. Their waiting list is long....
Little Wombles is a lovely small/nurturing small nursery/large childminder option up on Westover Road.. definitely worth a look...again it just didn't work for us locationally but it is lovely.
There are loads of nannies and childminders around the Earlsfield Area and often that's a good/gentler introduction into childcare with the added bonus that they get out and about in the area and get taken to the playgroups! Check out the Wandsworth council FIS website for Ofsted childminders with vacancies...
Good Luck - It is the most gut wrenching / horrible thing touring all the options but once you find the right option you will know.
