Has anyone else in the area noticed that there has been an increase in either actual criminal activity or some potential strange things at night?

On Ramsden Road, I noticed that two cars had been broken in to last weekend (close to Nightingale Lane) - it looked like some things were left in view.

In addition, on Wednesday night, it appears that someone opened our gate and went to the side gate to our back garden. Opened it and took the attachment that closes the gate to the wall. Our dog barked loudly and we thought it was the foxes again but upon waking we noticed the gates opened in the morning.

Interested to see if anyone else has noticed anything but also wanting people to remain vigilant and to ensure windows and doors are locked and things left out of sight.
