It is a bother but I would recommend taking it to the Apple store. If you take it elsewhere it might invalidate the warranty. They also told me on the phone that the repair would cost £139 but when I got to the store the nice Apple people found a way to fix it for free (wink, wink).

I took mine to Sulfi internet café opposite Milk on Hildreth Street in Balham. Did a great job for £40. Also had iPad done for £65.
