Hi Laura,

I've just read your post-are you still looking? If so I'd love to hear from you as I'm looking for a nanny for my son who's 3 1/2. I like your outlook and use of music too...being totally untalented in that area I am hugely admiring of those who are!
Best wishes

Helen

Hello,

Hello,

My name is Molly and I'm currently looking for a live in nanny/housekeeper. We have a 2.5yr old son who is in nursery three mornings a week, an 8 month old daughter and a third due in January. I am a stay at home mom in Fulham and would like an extra pair of hands around the house to help look after the kids and the house.

I'm not sure what type of position you are looking for so if this post is of any interest please send me your email and I'll be in touch.

MUSICAL KIWI NANNY LOOKING FOR A WONDERFUL FAMILY

Hi there,
My name is Laura and I am a 28 year old nanny looking to join a great family for either part time or full time work. I have just arrived in London on a 2 year working visa.
Music is my passion and I have come over here to explore the music scene, I am a singer/song writer, I play the keyboard and love performing live gigs.
For the past two years I have been living in Melbourne where I was immersed in the music scene while working full time for Fairfax Media. Previously to that I was working as a nanny the two children in Auckland, New Zealand.

I believe that music is a great tool for learning with children and I try and incorporate it into a childs daily routine - from singing action songs, to using singing to calm an upset child, and even using as music as a distraction (eg: some children don't like having their faces wiped after meals so I sing a little "wash your face" song which really helps!).

I believe in keeping a familiar routine with children, especially babies and toddlers, as this ensures a sense of expectation and helps a child to feel secure in their environment and therefore thrive! I am a very calm and kind person, and children really respond well to my positive and friendly nature.

I am looking to start working ASAP and I am also keen for any babysitting or even temporary work if you need help over the school holidays etc. Please drop me an email and I look forward to meeting you!
Hope to hear from you soon
Thanks :)
