Hi ladies,
What a wonderful idea.
How long do your meetings tend to go on for?
I would love to join if I may, I just need to see if I can juggle a few things.
Or I may pop in at 2.30 instead, if that's okay too?

xx

Hi everyone!

Just to let you know that the meeting tomorrow has been postponed to the 18th of Septembe to allow people to get back holidays and survive the back to school week...

Also, if you are running a creative business or thinking of starting your own business you may want to come to this event on Friday, 29th august in the morning:

http://www.meetup.com/CreativeStartups/ ... 200253892/

The School for Creative Startups are doing a talk, How to grow a business from the kitchen table. If you don't know about this programme, I def recommend it - I have just finished the course and it has been amazing. I will also be there talking about my experience.

Otherwise see you on the 18th!

Inma

Hi, 'anotherlocal' we are looking for a 2nd venue to host meet ups, to alternate with The Old School Club. Wondered if you would like to host the 28th August meeting - we normally meet at 1pm but could change to fit in with your opening & busy times! Venue needs to be free - but am sure we'll have a few coffees etc & I for one will probably have some food! Some people may also need to bring kids as it's still the Summer Hols so seems like your new area would work for that too.
Get in touch if you want to discuss further,

Hi
I co-own the new cafe/restaurant 'Cornish Tiger' on Battersea Rise and I'd like to be included in this group and invited to any meet ups.

We've started opening in the daytime, doing breakfast and lunch and have literally just set up a reading corner or 0 - 5's. I've filled the racks with spunky, books with attitude (as I'm not keen on the 'little old women and wise old man, or the princess waiting  to be kissed!) and in Sept, we're going to run 'reading fairies' groups for 0 - 5's.

Obviously, I'd love to network with other independent business women around us.

Looking forward to seeing women business owners, babies, dogs and friends for a Walkie Talkie on Clapham Common today, starting at the bandstand near Windmill Drive at 4pm. We'll stop and introduce ourselves before setting off and finish - probably - with a drink at The Windmill.

Hi all,
There is a facebook page but also hoping that Annabel will be supporting us on here (but that's all technical stuff that needs to be sorted!).

The facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WWomeninbiz/

We have called the group (including the facebook page): Wandsworth Women in Business (does what it says on the tin!!!). This is a group created to support the women in business in Wandsworth. Please use this group to share news, articles, events & other information of interest with other members. You may share information about your business (i.e. events, sales, new products, etc) as long as it is not spammy and it is useful for the rest of the group.

It is a closed group & you can request to join. One of the admins will process this, however we currently have the condition that In order to enter this group you must have attended a meetup and at least one of the admins must know who you are! (To stop unnecessary 'sellers', spam etc).

We are postponing the next meet up until after the summer as it's the school holidays & we are all stretched (some people are lucky enough to be going on holiday too!). Proposed date is 28th August so do let us know if you would like to join.

Think this is going to be a very useful group & we are all keen to support each other & make it a useful support network.

The admins are currently:
Imna Goodhew (The Old School Club)
Pascale de L'eprevier (Orfeo Design)
Sarah Cox (Nutripilates)
Rhiannon Davies (The Biscuit Tree)

Best,
Rhiannon

Hi all

So sorry I couldn't make the meeting last week. I've been talking careers to sixth formers

Just a reminder of the Walkie Talkie on Clapham Common (dogs and kids all welcome!) starting at the Bandstand near Windmill Drive at 4pm and moving on to The Windmill - gradually!

It's on the Chamber of Commerce website and eventbrite at http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/women-wal ... 3?aff=eorg

But just show up if you prefer. It would be great to see you.
