I have called Jason as well after reading the comments on this site, and he came over. He is a really nice guy and very professional, gave very good information about the mice situation.

Would recommend him.

Couldn't agree more.
We're mouse free too now and I'm really glad I got them in. Total relief.

Well Pestalance have finished their treatment course (five visits) and we are now mice free (for now). Am going to get them to come back and block up every hole and entry point they can find too, so hopefully the mice won't come back (or not for a long while anyway). I can't recommend Jason and Lee highly enough - don't waste time and money on getting Rentokil round for example (I had them round once and they were completely useless - we caught more mice than they did). They work extremely hard, are reliable, professional and more importantly, really know what they are doing! http://www.pestalance.co.uk

£200+VAT to eliminate the beasties!
They usually do 5 or so visits on a weekly basis. We are 3 visits in and I haven't seen one since week 1. They are still munching on the bait though!!!
Sadly I think that we had quite a few :o
Deal with it sooner rather than later....

I can't remember exactly but I am pretty sure its under 200 for multiple visits and it worked most importantly…

Just has to remove a mouse from my kitchen- Arragh!

How much can I expect to pay Pestalance roughly to treat a house BTC?

Thank you!

Oh gail9810 the blighters are EVERYWHERE!! They even found evidence of them by the water tank in the loft...... MY ROOM!!!
Ugh!!
And the odd smell that I was thinking was the drains??? Best not to even go there.
I am sooooo glad that we got someone in and these guys seem great so fingers crossed.
I've just dumped two rugs outside the front door. Yuck!!

Great, thanks so much, will give them a call. We can set traps and get rid of the mice, but need to understand where they are coming in and block up their entry points for good. Either that or we'll be getting a cat!! So horrible....

Jason's details are:

email Jason on:
pestalance@me.com
or call him on:
Mobile: 07802346323
Office: 020 86799215

Am sure they will sort you out. What I like about them is that they treat but can also mouseproof so you stop them coming back!

Good luck!!

X

Oh, could you share the contact details for Pestalence with me please. We had Rentokil in and they didn't get rid of the mice - in fact we did ourselves for a good while - and now they are back. :(

What nice guys! Thanks Abbevillemummy for the tip.
They've already put poison down, in completely safe, out of reach of the kids places. We'll see them again next week to see how we're getting on. Then they'll do 5 further visits to ensure we are completely clear.
Fair price too.
Bye bye mice!! :D

Can heartily recommend Jason and Lee at Pestalance. They are brilliant!! Am sure they will sort it out for you!

Thank you. We got a PM for Jason at Pestalence who is coming this afternoon to take a look around & give a free survey.
Perhaps 'Tom' would be a better deterrent though...although if I remember rightly he wasn't very good at mouse catching ;-)

Hi KatherineHepburn,

We're yet to work with any pest control companies, sorry not much help with recommending one; It's hard, especial in the older properties, to completely prevent mice from coming back. The best solution is to get a cat.

All the best with catching them.
