by LucieBK » Wed Oct 08, 2014 12:52 am

Dear family,

Is your position still actual ?
May I have more information please ?

My name is Lucie, it's my first experience in au pair but I'm quite motivated !
I'm 22 and I'm french.
I think I could satisfy all your conditions.
I already babysit (cousins or neighbours) and helped my aunt with newborns (twins, day and night for 2 month) and I do chores at home.
I'm available in mid-november.
I've got a driving licence (but never drive in UK), just in case.
Non smoker.

I send you my CV

Regards.

Lucie

University; Faculty of Education. (Czech language + literature and Christian
Education.) I was study (4years) high school for nurses. so I am a nurse and
I had a practise in four or five hospitals (for adults and for kids too). I
want to stop my study for now and finish them after this adventure :)

I am nice, friendly, helpful, very sensitive and adapt, flexible, and kids-
love-person!
I would like to stay in London for 1year and after this period maybe for
longer, it depend on you!

I am able to cook meals for the kids.
I am able to do some light housework. (as I have lot experience with
cleaning.. )
I like pets.
I dont have driver license.
I dont smoke!

I love to listening music, go for a walk, swimming, singing, dancing,

my experience with kids:

1) I have already been an aupair in London for 7 month - i took care about 3
>4 years old boy.. -> I took care about three and then four years old boy.
He goes to nursery 3 times per week and one day he had a swimm lesson. I was
all day wit him
exept time he was at nursery. It was just a few hours. So we woke up, I did
his bed, give him breakfast, clean teeth, and preper for nursery(make sure
he did his HW).. and then we walked there. the nursery was about 10mins by
walk from house.
If he was there I usually tidy up bathroom, his room, and did vacuum,
ironing his and mums clothes and time by time  mopping floor in the kitchen.
It was smal house so there was not so much what to do. But I do as a
parttime job in my city a cleaner, so I have a lots of experience in this
area

In days he has a swimm lesson, it took just 30min,  we after went to the
park or nearly museum. and then we ussually were at home/park/outside,
playing.
He was supposed to go  to school in September  so I tryed to learn him
counting and writing.. I love this!

2) I am leader, cooker and medic on summer christians camps. this camp is
for kids which are 7-12 and 8-18 years old. -> This camp is 14days, it's
tant camp, we are working with fire, axes, knives, saws - so we as a leaders
have a lots of responsibility. But it is always fun :)

3) I am taking care about group of children. There is about 2-7 kids in ages
1-5 years. -> This is in my church.. it's group for mums wit theyr kids and
mums are having seminar or they are making something so they need "free-
hands" so I am playing with these kids and we have a lots of fun together

4)During a year I am looking for family in my city who need some help with
their children if they are busy or just want to go out.. So I am taking care
about kids in strange family. it my part-time job (just as a cleaning)

5)When I was 14-16years old I took care about 4-7 years old boy. I picked
him up from nursery and we were together until the last night.

6)I am a teacher in sunday school in my church. there is about 6 to 16 kids
pre-school ages.

7) I took care about 3girls - 1.5, 4 and 6 years old. My responsibilities was take care about kids (changing nappies, feed them, changing clothing, bathing, put kids to bed) I also played with them, readed stories, went out for a walk or to the park. I did not worked only with kids but I helped with some housework.

to be honest. if you would ask anybody who knows me, what reflect me, it
woul be my enthusiasm for kids and specifically small children...

Well it's me, please feel free to ask me everything you want and need to
know "

Love, Kate

Dear Family,

my name is Nina. I am 26. (female). I have semi-long brown hair and brown eyes.
I live in Horné Zelenice. It is a small village near Hlohovec city, in Slovakia.
I come from a family of 4: My parents are Viera and Jaroslav. I have one brother, he name´s Igor. My younger brother is a student. He is 21.
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, and reading a good book.

Lastly, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to attend day time English language classes.
I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.
Thank you very much for your interest in my application!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,

Nina

Lovely au pair needed!

by notsure! » Wed Oct 01, 2014 9:05 pm

We are a happy family of four (two children age 5 and 1 ½) living in Clapham . We would love an au pair to help us with the smooth running of our household. We need someone trustworthy, reliable, organised and a non smoker who will care for our children. You must have a good level of English. Perfect English is not essential.

The most important thing is that you love children. In addition, you will be patient and light-hearted, find interesting and creative ways to play, and be able to take initiative. A driver is a bonus.

You will have your own double room, shower room next door, wifi internet access, TV with DVD, desk etc.

Start date is flexible, depending on the right candidate. We would like someone who can commit to a minimum of 6 months.

Our 5 year old son goes to school and our 1 1/2 year old daughter will go to local playgroups with you on 3 days of the week.

Childcare duties
• Help get the children dressed and ready for school
• Look after our daughter (19 months) part time
• Take our son to school/pick him up from school (two days a week).
• In the holidays our son will not be at school so he will be around more but there are lots of holiday clubs he can go to. He is also fun to be around!

I also need help with the following:
• Help with washing/ hanging out of children’s laundry.
• Tidying the children’s bedrooms when required.
• Changing the children’s beds once a week
• Babysitting usually twice per week, once during the week and once at the weekend .

Kitchen:
• Help clear away after breakfast
• Prepare/ cook/ heat up supper for the children and lunch for our daughter (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday).

Although you will have a busy schedule there is also plenty of free time. We would love to welcome someone with a happy disposition and a love of children to our home. A non smoker is ESSENTIAL. We don’t have any pets.
