Hello

A good architect will draw to your brief rather than a particular style of their own

That said, I did some work recently with an architect called Nicholas Morley who designed a development in Worcester Park in Hamptons Style. Before I met Nicholas I actually designed a garden there so I can vouch for the Hamptons style of the place. His website is http://www.nicholasmorleyarchitects.co.uk/

Good luck!

Hi NYE31

Thank you for the recommendation - however, when I try to google the name I can't find any information on him. Do you have a website address?

Many thanks

Architect with Hamptons vibe?

Hi there

I posted this on the Richmond site and didn't have much luck so keeping my fingers crossed with Wandsworth!.....

.......I'm looking to do some major-ish work to my house and need an architect to help me realise and draw up my vision! I'm finding it really hard to find someone who has a more Hamptons / East Coast vibe which is the look I love! I want something beachy/nautical, loads of weatherboard, wood, paned windows and french doors, cosy but also really comfortable and warm. When I look at architect sites it's much more modern and all about glass boxes and bi-folding doors etc which is great for some but with my south facing house a bit toasty in the sun! Does anyone know of anyone who might be able to help? Thank you in advance!!! :D
