Hi,

I used to be a nanny for over 3 years and did nanny share for all sorts of ages. I found that having one younger and one older child was actually a bit better and I noticed that children were more interested in each other. The younger child has in a way been learning from the older one. As long as the routine is similar I personally think that she difference does not matter that much.
With 5 and 10 month old nanny can still be taking both to same activities so that they can enjoy it. Good luck and hope this helps.

Age difference between babies for nanny share?

I am completely new to the idea of nanny share - so any advice is appreciated. I have a five month old boy (thus not mobile) and am looking to do a nanny share with a family who has a 10 month old and about to walk. Is it hard for a nanny to take care of two babies with such difference in their mobility? What about the babies - does it make sense to have them together? Any insights are welcome. Thank you!
