Thanks for your responses. Helpful to hear of other people's experience.

My experience of D&G was not good at all. I actually rented through them while doing a renovation, they treated us with disdain let's say. (personal opinion, I hasten to add). I also almost rented my own house out through them and had some issues there too. I'm sure they are fine but I've had much more favourable experiences with Thorogoods who are great, as are the Cluttons rental team. I've only used Hamptons to sell and found them to be very good. I hate badmouthing any business but of all of the agents in Northcote, D&G is the one I'd avoid.

I have had a very poor experience with D&G - the rental management team in particular were very frustrating to deal with!

I have more recently used Rampton basely for renting and have had a much more positive experience.

We used Hamptons - the team that got the tennants (sales team) were great. The rental management was seriously poor.

Hi - we're being posted abroad for 3 years. Do you have experience of renting your house with either Douglas & Gordon, or Hamptons? What was it like?!
