Or do a back-up via iTunes, connected by cable to computer (should work on PC as well as Mac) - do a complete back-up to ensure all photos, music etc are saved. Then restore-from-backup to new iPhone.
But as 'this-is-cat' suggests, might be safest to go to Apple store, along with your computer (iTunes installed) if possible.
:)

Can she go to the Apple store?

I would think the very easiest way for her to do it is to set up an iCloud account, which will then automatically back everything up, and switch the the 6 and tell it to use the last iCloud back up to set up the phone.
But if she isn't confident doing this, the Apple store people can walk her through it if she books an appointment

Hi
Posting on behalf of a friend who lives in n13dw
She has an iPhone 4 and wants to transfer all the data to her new iPhone 6. She has been to told that doing this will loose some of her technical data as it isn't supported - are there any technical geniuses out there happy to travel to Hoxton to help her out.
