My husband and I are both registered with Dr Begg's surgery on St Johns Hill and never had any issues, really like all the doctors there.

Always manage to get a same day appointment and open late at least one night a week.

That said, neither of us is picky about which doctor we see so can't comment on getting a specific appointment. When I had had instances when I've wanted to to see a female doctor it is normally a couple of days wait and I have to take what time they can give me.

I did register with Thurleigh Road initially being the closest, we mover from SJH, but transferred straight back as couldn't get a same day appointment.

I was wondering if somebody can recommend a good GP in the area Northcote Road/BTC. We moved here from Kensington where, I have to say, we had a very good experience with the GPs. Here we are registered at Thurleigh Road practice, and although I read all the very positive comments, I am not excited about it. I find a bit difficult to have a same day appointment and even more complicated to see the same doctors (for some of them you could wait up to two months before having an appointment!). So was wondering if anybody has good experience with other GPs in the area.
