Re: Brilliant online sleep consultant

Some wanted to share some testimonials from our 6-9 month online support group we finished last week, we had a large amount of the group feeding on demand and feeding to sleep.

I was part of the online group too, before the group started my baby (8months)napped only on me, in the car or the pram. I was really starting to panic about going back to work because he wouldnt sleep on his own.
The improvements we have seen in a week are absolutely amazing. We now get naps and night sleeps in his cot and have a routine that suits his needs well. I couldnt recommened carol highly enough, her support and advice has been amazing from start to finish.

I have taken part in one of Carol's online sleep consultation groups. I can't recommend this service enough.
My 8 month old baby boy would not sleep during the day unless he was being carried or nursed & was waking several times in the night. After less than a week of working with Carol my little sleep refuser is happily napping in the day & has slept through the night 7 out of 9.
Our house is a much happier & more relaxed place to be.
In addition Carol is a fantastically supportive, relaxed & fun person to work with, I had a great time chatting to her. Her warmth comes across, even through an online forum.

I was part of a large online group and I cannot begin to explain how changing the process has been. My 7.5 month old daughter woke on average seven times a night and always needed to be breastfed back to sleep. I would then carefully transfer her to her cot once she fell asleep on me. If that failed, as it often did I would just bring her into bed with me and my partner.
I began Carol's method on the Friday afternoon and saw results surprisingly quickly. It is now one week later and my daughter has slept through for the last six nights! We now also have a good routine and I feel confident in structuring my day to fit her needs. Carol has been extremely helpful in supporting me through the process and also offering advice when inevitably life makes routine difficult. For me it's been more than just baby sleeping, I'm enjoying breastfeeding again as I'm no longer a human dummy, I am able to go out in the evenings without worrying she needs me and mine and my partner's relationship has improved. I thoroughly recommend her.

Thank you guys, much appreciated!!
I'm very excited about the new affordable groups and we have had great success with lots of big sleep issues in the past few weeks.
Our 6-12 month group is booked for this week but have just started taking bookings for the next one. We still have 2 places left on our 0-3 and 3-6 month classes, we will cover all aspects of healthy sleeping habits from very early on so we can prevent crying and overtired babies. Please get in touch if you would like more info on prices and availability.

I can also highly recommend Sandra from http://www.northcotebabymassage.co.uk Sandra runs sleep workshops or does one to one sessions.
Based just off NC Road a local mum who has two small boys and really knows her stuff.
We had amazing advice from Sandra which worked. Sandra also helps with feeding issues too.

I dread to think where we would have been had we not found Carol! Our 6 month old son only ever slept for 20 min stints and more often than not had to be fed or pushed to sleep. I was at the end of my rope. Within a matter of days and after only one home visit Carol had us in a much better place. With Carols support on WhatsApp, two weeks later he was consistently sleeping at regular nap times and through the night. Now 2.5 years on our little boy is still a fantastic sleeper. I put a large part of this down to Carols help in getting his sleep foundations right.

When we had our second child we asked for Carols help again. This time Carol helped us over WhatsApp. Every nap time for two weeks Carol was at the other end of a message guiding us though the process. We sent her images, audio files and messages in order to make sure we were doing things right.

In short I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carol and have done so time and again. She's even worked remotely with friends of ours living in Portugal.

If your having issues with sleep, weaning, toddler taming or any other baby/toddler related issues Carol's your answer!

We also used Carol for our second little one when he was just 4 months old. After our first child was a very poor sleeper, and our second started becoming dependent on a dummy and then waking every half an hour all night, every night, we called Carol based on lots of personal recommendations.

She was absolutely exceptional and her gentle method started with his daytime nap and had my little one sleeping through the first night with no dummy after only waking once or twice (and settling himself without a visit) and then sleeping through almost every night since, and daytime naps super easy as well - he goes down wide awake, happy and chatty and puts himself to sleep. Carol also helped us to get rid of my older child's dummy in one night. 2 years on and he is still an exceptional sleeper - still having a solid daytime nap and then 12 hours at night. Even when ill, his self soothing is so effective that he puts himself back to sleep after a comforting cuddle. Carol also gave me a very simple and effective weaning sheet that was so much easier than the others I'd used and he is a brilliant eater too!

Carol's WhatsApp support was fantastic, she was literally in touch every nap time for about 2 weeks after her visit and has been on hand for the odd question any time I've needed her. She is such a lovely, warm person that she's a pleasure to interact with.

I would recommend her without question to any parent struggling with sleep or other issues - I'm always telling our friends to give her a call!

Carol helped us with both our babies and is a miracle worker. Our eldest was feeding to sleep at 6 mths and would only nap in my arms or a moving pram. Carol had her sleeping through the night after 48 hours. With the second I wanted to get into a routine and learn how to settle her without feeding to sleep, rocking, etc. Carol taught me gentle, effective settling techniques and she was sleeping 7-7 with a dream feed from 7 weeks old.

All the support for our second child was on What's App, so very similar to online support.

Hi mums & dads
I just wanted to recommend Carol Mae Grassick who is an excellent and very well regarded sleep consultant. Normally Carol does home visits or telephone consultations but she has just started doing online groups.
I was a bit skeptical but I've just participated in one and they work really well. The groups have 8-10 mums/dads and Carol does up a personalised sleep plan for your baby and guides you over the course of a week. I have seen some amazing turnarounds in our group including babies who were fed to sleep, co-sleeping and up several times a night now sleeping through after 6 days.
It is more cost effective too as you can imagine!

If you are interested you can contact carol@carolmaeconsulting.co.uk or PM me if you have any questions. x
