Yes, they are carrying on through the summer. I believe the weekly cycle just keeps on rolling along! They have different levels and children are promoted when ready. There is a joining fee of £15 and then £34 per month.

Ah, that's good to know. I assumed they wouldn't be doing lessons over the school summer holidays. Could I possibly ask how much they are, and is it a long course?

My 6yr old daughter has started lessons at Balham Leisure Centre. Group of 3 or 4 and, so far, I couldn't be happier or more impressed.

Aquatots have a new pool in Streatham Hill, the new term starts in a couple of weeks.
Great classes which are small with a nice heated pool.

Southfields not ideal but certainly possible - I'll look into it! Thank you.

Is Southfields any good for you? All my children have learnt through the Sarah Harris School of swimming. They have all done intensive holiday courses (i.e. one week an hour each day). They learn so quickly doing it everyday and then you can just take them swimming for leisure where they can practice what they've learnt.

Could anyone recommend classes based in the Balham/Tooting area (or even Clapham/Streatham at a push)? Probably not 1:1 as that seems sooooo expensive, but say small classes? I'm conscious that it's time for my daughter to learn, but I'm finding surprisingly few options...
