Hello all. Just wondering if any other parents at wix could give me some advice on this school? I'm still looking into other schools and need as much advice as possible as am scared to make the wrong decision. Thank you all x

Hi
I am also a Wix parent. The new head teacher is really doing a great job and the Ofsted in itself was unlucky as Wix was assessed two/three week's into the new head's arrival. Go to their website and have a look at the follow up reports.
Get an informed view and speak to existing parents at WIX, it is a good school.

I am a Wix parent.

Wix is an excellent school with very committed teachers. Please bear in mind that we had a year with an interim head, and then the ofsted turned up two weeks into the first term of the new head. If you look on the ofsted site, you will see there is an update which shows very substantial progress has already been made in addressing the original ofsted report.

Personally, I would recommend the school.

I spoke to my sons headteacher today about a transfer to another school. She said she was gutted my son was moving schools, but she wants me to make the right move. SO when asked which schools I was looking at, I told her Wix was my first choice but she told me I should really go and have a look at it (he went to the nursery and will be moving there in year 2 hopefully) because the ofsted just received "requires and improvements" which isnt that good. It seems like the school is going downhill, so Im just wondering if there are any parents out there whos children go to wix and have any good or bad experience with it? If your child will be going into year 2, what is the class like, are they doing well?
