On Friday my husband and I met a lovely American couple with a gorgeous dog on the South Bank, so we started chatting and asking and it turned out they are professional pet sitters who are travelling the world looking after peoples pets. They were such a lovely couple and have been all over the US and quite a bit of Europe since they gave up their jobs and rented out their house. Take a look at their site:

Their availability is on their website so it depends on when your holiday is but they also have the added bonus of looking after your house while you are away. From what I gathered, they don't get paid, but the way it works is they get to stay in amazing places around the world in people's homes and they love animals.

Any luck with this MIlliesmum?

I am also looking for a loving place to leave my two cockapoos while we are away for 3 weeks in September. Am happy to leave in someones home or a dog boarder as long as they get plenty of exercise and love. Any recommendations are very very much appreciated!

Can anyone recommend a dog sitter or kennels? We have 2 dogs that need looking after from 25th July for 2 weeks. I don't mind if they go to someone's home, or a kennel if someone can recommend one.
Our usual lady isn't able to help this time.
Dogs are fully vaccinated -- both are neutered. One is an 18 month old Chocolate Labrador, the other a 7 year old Jack Russell/Bichon Frise cross. Both great with kids and pretty well behaved.
