Thank you to all for your recommendations. I went with Alison at the Glasshouse, mostly because that's very close for me, as opposed to the Balham clinic. Very pleased with the results, and she offers a follow-up appointment and a free "top up" if required 2 weeks after an initial treatment so I was confident we weren't doing too much at once.

I recommend Mica, too. She was with a very high-end (expensive) clinic on Harley Street and is excellent. Cosmetica London, Hildreth Street. People travel from central London to see her now.

The Wellington Clinic on the kings road is amazing. It's actually a dental surgery but they do botox/fillers etc. Dentists are the best people to do botox as they learn so much about the facial muscles etc during training. It's the only place I'd go to for botox.

I'm 37 and have had it for about 5 ish years, love it!

I can highly recommend Dr Mica at Cosmetica on Hildreth street in Balham. She has just left her Harley st clinic to focus full time on her Balham clients. She is amazing and know her stuff.

Botox is very common... So are fillers, not just for celebrities! These days even many dentists offer them...
I am 42, and found my face/wrinkles took a big dive in my late 30s...

I can highly recommend the Skin clinic in Victoria. They have an excellent doctor there who practises every second Thursday afternoon/evening. She achieves a very natural look and offers consultations to just talk through what she can offer and answer any questions you have with no pressure to go ahead if you choose not too.

Dr Cobb is a surgeon based in South West London who runs the London Facial Aesthetics practice. Several friends and I have used him and he is amazing!!! He is incredibly professional, achieves a natural, youthful look and he even schedules appointments and follow up appointments in the comfort of your own home at no additional cost. He is very reasonably priced, especially when you take into account his experience and qualifications.
