What about Scotland? The skiing is probably not guaranteed but you could research places like Aviemore and see if your family could do day trips from somewhere like Edinburgh while you put your feet up for the day.

Flying at such a late stage in pregnancy is crazy. We have strong rules in the UK regarding flying and they are there for a reason.

Norwegian air will let you fly until 38 weeks if your flight is no longer than 4 hours. Not sure their destinations are what you are looking for but might be worth considering rather than a long train journey.

Good luck

Switzerland? You can take a train to Paris and then continue to Neuchatel/Geneva. from there a lot of goo sky places/ towns.
just make sure you have proper health insurance, they are not EU so that works differently.

You may want to think about where you can get to where they have a good hospital just in case. I wouldnt suggest anywhere high altitude like a ski resort as this can be an issue in pregnancy not to mention how awkward some of the hospitals are location wise - if the weather is bad then a helicopter evacuation is not possible. Don't mean to be doom and gloom but thi it's wise to flag up some potential issues.

Hi there,
I will be about 36 weeks pregnant at Christmas with our 2nd and we are planning on meeting extended family for the Christmas break. As I will be too pregnant for flying we need somewhere we could train to but the family are keen to have the option of a few days skiing as well. They will be coming from Berlin and Paris. Any brainwaves?

Thanks!
