Thank you so much for your advice. It is for a loft conversion. Top hung seem to look nicer but practically I'm not sure how the windows could get cleaned?

Centre pivot windows are designed for overhead applications as they can be operated either by hand or using a pole.

Top hung are recommended for use in applications where the windows will be at eye level and you do not want the window entering the living space. Top hung windows also open fully giving you a better view.

Not a hugely exciting one but does anyone have any recommendations about choosing top hung versus centre pivot velux windows in a loft? any lived experiences out there saying one over another? Thanks x
