Thank you all. I think I might have my answer, I'm going to give Bockett's a go.

Bocketts! We were making the exact same choice between the two for our NCT 2-year olds birthday parties and went for Bocketts. It's perfect (and you can reserve the party room for lunch).

There's no limit on the indoor play if the weather is bad, plus the indoor tractor ring literally occupied our 2-year olds for an hour whilst we all sat and had coffees (frankly worth the entry fee alone). The play area at Hobbledown looked better for slightly older kids...

Bocketts. Loads to do in the bad weather in different areas.
Hobbledown gives an hour and a half slot for the only indoor area in the bad weather.

You'll have a fab day at either.

Personally I'd suggest Brockets for younger ones and Hobbledown for when they are a little older. As a previous poster mentioned Hobbledown has a massive indoor playarea that is fantastic for slightly older toddlers, I'd say at roughly 3+ it really comes into its own. We prefer Brockets as it has more animals which my 11 month old and 3 year old both enjoy feeding etc. Tractors that they can sit on and ride and indeed another that takes them round the farm, indoor trampolines, various animal talks from staff etc etc. It also has indoor soft play, all be it on a smaller scale to the one at Hobbledown, i sense there is more to do at Brockets all in all.

Enjoy which ever you choose.

Really depends if you're looking for traditional farm experience or soft play. Bocketts has more animals while Hobbledown has the huge, warm playbarn. My daughter is 4 now and favours Bocketts but preferred Hobbledown when she was younger.

Hope this helps x

There is also Godstone Farm which has lots to do indoors if it is bad weather. Bocketts is great though too - not been to Hobbledown though.

They're both fun. Hobbledown is more expensive but is "smarter" and has a more sophisticated enormous soft play and outside play area. Bocketts is more "farmy" with more farm animals to see/pet, pig racing, pony rides etc. Outside and inside play areas less fancy but indoors they have space for picnics, trampolines and mini tractors to ride.
We've favoured Bocketts recently as my son loves the farm animals (cows horses donkeys etc) but am sure we'll be back to Hobbledown before too long as well!

Bocketts or Hobbledown

I wonder if anyone could recommend whether I should take my soon to be two year old twins to Bocketts or Hobbledown. We are looking to take the two of them in November so assuming it rains, which venue would be more appropriate in terms of indoor play and also that age group?
Many thanks in advance for any advice.
