My son goes to the Playroom on Garratt Lane (opposite Jolly Gardners) and we love it! Such a lovely nurturing environment. Website is www.theplay-room.co.uk. They are open from 7.30-7.30 each day and take creche bookings over the weekend which is great if i want a couple of hours shopping kid free.

My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting there and i can't recommend it enough.

Hope you find somewhere you are happy with!

Barn Owls in Southfields (just off Merton Road) is awesome, but not sure what the waiting list is like. There are another couple of great nurseries in the Southfields Grid, but again, think the waiting lists can be a bit of an issue. Good luck!

Hi mums

I'm looking into options for sending my daughter when she approaches age 3, who is currently at a lovely childminder. I am a full time working mum, so looking at either finding a good day nursery (8am-6pm), or doing the nursery school/afternoon nanny combination.

Can you please tell me your recommendations for good options near Earlsfield? I am looking for what's best for my child, so happy to go to Wimbledon or Southfields if there are better places there.

When I originally researched nurseries when my daughter was age 1, I visited Eveline and Magdalen, but wasn't impressed with either. :?

Thanks very much for your honest advice.
