Fruity Tunes do birthday parties. John offers 30 mins or 1 hour of guitar led singing and music at a venue of your choice. I don't know what he charges but I'm pretty sure it's less than Monkey Music.

Lucy Sparkles and friends are also great for this age group.

We've done an Artful Toddler party before which was held in a hall in Clapham Junction. 2 hour craft party with hall hire and crafts and large bouncy castle included. Was around £250.

They also do just a bouncy castle party with hall hire included for around £200.

I am in the same boat. Was planning to use Monkey Music - my daughter loves the classes and have seen it done at a party. But seems really expensive - £156 for 1hour, and that is a discount as we attend classes! (Add to that venue hire... And having to entertain the kids for another hour)

I would love to hear of other ideas. I have seen before someone just come with a guitar and sing songs, I would happily just arrange that - can anyone recommend any such entertainer?

We had a hartbeeps session. It was lovely because organised singing with lots of props and you can choose a theme and everyone got involved. Our daughter got a bit scared of balloons popping with the older kids chasing them so we got rid of those. We also thought there's plenty of time for clowns and face painting or more active parties in the future but a sensory type session would only really work for 0-3 year olds, (although a couple of the 8 year old girls at the party quite enjoyed the animals and songs! )
Contact Kimmy or Anna belle for details.

Cherish these moments and have fun!
Xx

Personally for 2 year olds I wouldn't get anyone. Save your cash for when they are 3 or even 4!
They won't engage for that long. All they want is a load of balloons and some nursery type music that they recognise and perhaps some interesting toys / wrapping paper to rip up. Trying to get them to engage for that long is more stressful than just letting them play!

Hello, I am looking for an entertainer for my son's 2nd birthday - our living room isn't huge so doesn't need to be active. I had in mind balloon modelling, face painting or even just a funny clown.... a not scary one! For a 1.5hr slot. Any recommendations gratefully received! Thank you
