Having tried tons of facials, including Dermatalogica, even Liz Earle's, this is a totally different treatment as Elaine not only treats the skin according to what it needs, but also gets into the tight muscles on your face. I have a lot of jaw tension from tooth grinding and neck and shoulder issues. It's the combination and her approach that is totally unique and every treatment is prescriptive. The deep tissue one releases tension all over the face, but particularly around the jaw and neck so it's definately worth it. She always consults and spends time planning a treatment so you go out feeling how YOU want and not doing a run of the mill facial from a menu. Plus she uses tons of different hot and cold stones on all those achey bits which feel INCREDIBLE. So in a nutshell, yep there's facials but these are....well....what can I say that the posts haven't?!!!
