Also just to note: while we are looking for someone to start in January on a temporary basis, we would also consider having someone with us when we move to the south of France for April to June (then we will be back to London)! We are very open to nannies who would like to bring their own children to work as well.

Please feel free to give me a call today if you would like to discuss further on 07826 552554.

More details below:

We are a welcoming American family with baby 2 due in February. I will be on maternity leave, but would like a loving nanny to care primarily for our sweet 22 month old son, Theo. I would also like an extra pair of hands in helping with the new baby as well. Our house is on Grandison Road, between the commons in Clapham, just off the children's park.

We would like someone energetic, fun, creative and who genuinely loves children and understands their development. Our son is such a happy and smiley child and we would like a nanny who is comfortable giving lots of cuddles. At the same time, we feel that good manners and structure are really important and we would like someone who is confident in using positive discipline to encourage good behaviors. He is going through his toddler phase, pushing boundaries, so it's important that we find someone experienced, confident and very patient in that regard.
He is also a very active and curious boy, so its important that he gets enough physical and play time every day!

Theo has a very established sleep schedule (naps from 1-3pm daily and sleeps from 7pm until we wake him at 8am). Duties include everything to do with his care (playing/reading, taking him to classes, organizing play dates as you see fit, cooking/freezing/feeding healthy foods, plus washing up, his laundry, and keeping the nursery/kitchen/living areas tidy after use. Depending on hours, we may also need help doing the bath and bed routine.

We are looking for someone to start in January/Feb on a temporary basis until mid-April. We are very open to nannies who would like to bring their own children to work.

Excellent recent references please. Relevant trainings and track record of interest in children (ie, degree in Child Psych, daycare admin, etc) would be a big plus.

Please email CV's and references directly! Thanks.

Hi! We are a friendly, American family due with baby #2 in February and would like a Full time Mother's Help, experienced au pair or nanny to help look after our 22 month old son. We are due to spend 11 weeks in the South of France from Mid-April, but if a temporary move sounds interesting, we can definitely take you with us to our beautiful 6 bed villa! Otherwise, this is probably a temp position in Between the Commons. If you are interested, PM me and I will send more details. Thanks! Trish
