Hi. The pipity sets sound like a great idea but just in case you have any problems with the delivery in time, I thought it worth letting you know about our local company, Gifts for Urchins. We sell gifts for 0-10yrs, such as frothy tutus (lightweight and scrunch into the tiniest space in a suitcase), Knights costume 6-8 yrs, which again is lightweight and packs flat. retro pjs and pretty kaftans (perfect for SA!), Build a Landmark kits which are particularly popular with boys and great for passing the time on long flights. Just a few ideas.
We are based in battersea and are happy to drop off locally, free of charge.

Thank you, love both those ideas. We're all going to watch Peter Pan in Wimbledon tomorrow, so maybe not another panto (think relations with my sis-in-law might break down again!). Have had a look at the Pipity website and they look fantastic, have left a message to check they can send them to me in time, if they can then job done- Thank you!

Do you know when they get back? How about some tickets to a panto or show with a Christmas theme for the whole family that gives them something to look forward to when they get back? You can put the tickets in a card for them which would be very easy to pack.

My children (girl 9 and boy 7) both have the Pipity set and love them, we use them all the time. Highly recommend them too - make a great gift and perfect for travelling.

Hi, I bought a Pipity Activity Case at the Spirit of Christmas for my god daughter aged 8, they're off to the US over Xmas. I was delighted to find this as she loves colouring/ drawing etc and it packs up like a cute little bag which she'll love carrying around. I also got her the dress-up doll book, which is adorable. It's all beautifully made and designed for travelling (so she'll be able to use it while she's away). I'm chuffed to bits with it and think she'll love it, know that it's great when you find the right pressie. Think it would be great for a 7 year old boy too - they have a pirate puppet show and games book too. Website is : www.pipity.com
Hope that helps!

Hi,

I had all my Christmas shopping done and dusted and then my sis-in-law has asked that we give her twins (boy and girl aged 7) something that can be easily packed and taken away over Christmas as they're off to S.Africa on a last minute planned trip mid next week.

We've had a tricky relationship over the past few years and have got things on track over the past few months which makes life happier and easier all round, so want to get them good pressies, but not found anything that's appealing. What I did have is not packable and I can hold onto for their birthdays in Feb.

Thank you!
