Hello
We are looking for a permanent nanny from January / February to look after our very happy, easy-going 14 month old daughter when mum returns to work. We would consider either a live-in or live-out arrangement.
For live-out, the hours would be roughly 45 per week, plus occasional babysitting:
- Three 12-hour days (7.30am-7.30pm), one of which should be a Friday. Sole charge
- One shorter day (roughly 8-10 hours), which would be shared care
For live-in, the hours would be longer. You would have a lovely, quiet room on top floor of our house, and a bathroom shared with the baby only.
Basic requirements: DBS, paediatric first aid, OFSTED registered, non-smoker, fluent English speaker, significant previous experience looking after babies sole charge. We would also prefer a driver and someone who is able to cook for our daughter.
Due to some previous surgery, our daughter can have trouble swallowing certain types of food and needs close supervision at meal times. Therefore we need someone who is very calm and highly experienced (including weaning babies). Ideally we would like someone with some kind of similar previous experience, formal nanny qualifications, or a paediatric nursing background.
