Hello,
I was also getting very stressed out about whether my car would fit an Isofix. In the end I opted for the Easybase which is compatible with any car. It works in exactly the same way as the Isofix base, it is fitted into the vehicle in a different manner.

It was the best thing I bought!
I am selling my Easybase if your interested. I bought it for 90 pounds and selling for 50 pounds. It has hardly been used, as this was also in our second car. Let me know if your interested.

Thanks
Sophie

On the maxi cosi website you can put in the car make and year and it tells you which maxi cosi car seats are compatible. Hope this helps!

ISOFIX In 2nd Car?

by anootka » Mon Mar 28, 2011 8:57 am

I am in the process of getting a car (used) for myself so that I can get around with my 2 little ones. I am wondering if anyone knows a website or a guide where I can find out if a car I am looking to buy will have ISOFIX. Looking to buy a 2nd hand VW Golf/Polo or a Mercedes A Class.
Thanks
