Hi - I second the advice above re Wandsworth. We saw an excellent one, we got seen quite quickly and she has been very helpful and responsive and supportive. We may however look a private assessment as this would be more detailed so I would also be grateful for your friends details headshrinker if I may....

Your best bet may be to use the NHS via a referral from your GP for a paediatric developmental check. Autism is diagnosed via a multi disciplinary assessment, ie, by a team of specialists. The team at St Georges, or at The Early Years Centre on Siward Road, are excellent.

Hi - My son was diagnosed when he was 3.5yrs and actually Wandsworth gave us a brilliant Ed Psych. So it maybe worth exploring that option? Sorry not to be more help.
