Dear all, tomorrow (Thurs) is the final day of voting.
If lots of you can give 30 seconds of your time it will make a huge difference to a neonatal unit which delivers excellence despite being undermined by NHS cuts.

Voting for First Touch is quick and easy:

(1) click on http://www.chelseafc.com/matchdaycollection

(2) scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the FIRST TOUCH button (4th button to last)

Please, please vote now if you can. Thank you everyone.

Done too - so many fab charities on that list, but voted for first touch as my first had a 11 day stay.

Done it, and for the mother's whose son was born there 23 years ago I worked there in 1993 Jan -June. you never know I might have met you if your then baby was in the NNU. Pat Hamilton was a consultant then I think she has retired, I was just an SHO and learned a lot.

Thanks to all who have voted so far. For those that haven't (and don't object to doing so) we would really appreciate it if you could quickly cast your vote.

Quick recap: we are voting for First Touch, the charity of St George's neonatal unit, to win the match day collection at Chelsea vs Man Utd (Stamford Bridge, Feb 7th), which we hope will raise over a thousand pounds, if not more, for the cash-strapped NNU. Voting is quick and painless:

(1) click on http://www.chelseafc.com/matchdaycollection

(2) scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the FIRST TOUCH button (4th button before end of list, when last checked)

You have to put in a name (any name) and e-mail to prevent abuse of the voting system, not for data capture. When you submit the page will seem to go blank, but your vote will have been cast and you can close the window.

Those of you attached to local schools: if you would you consider forwarding this request to your class rep to circulate that would be immensely helpful. Thanks again. Just 4 days until the deadline!

Done. Have passed on to my son, who is a diehard Chelsea FC supporter and was born at St George 23 years ago, and looked after in the neonatal unit.
I'm sure he will pass it on to all his friends and family, who are also Chelsea fans, all based in Wandsworth! Good luck for the 7th!

Thanks for voting! It's difficult to get a gauge on how many people are actually clicking on the button so it's nice to get some feedback. We are now into the final few days of voting, so please spread the word. And the link!

If you haven't voted yet, please please give us 30 seconds of your time to do so. It will make a massive difference to us if we do win. Thank you all.

Please help! The charity of St George's neonatal unit, FIRST TOUCH, has been nominated by SW London parents for match day collection at Chelsea vs Man Utd (Stamford Bridge, Feb 7th). This would be a massive boost for the NNU in light of the NHS cuts.

We need approx 500 votes. With the support of the NVN community we stand a very good chance. Please vote TODAY: it only takes 30 seconds. Here's how:

(1) click on http://www.chelseafc.com/matchdaycollection

(2) scroll right down to the bottom of the list and click on the FIRST TOUCH button (4th button before end of list, when last checked)

You have to put in a name (any name) and e-mail to prevent abuse of the voting system, not for data capture. When you submit the page will seem to go blank, but your vote will have been cast and you can close the window.

That's it! Thank you everyone. Fingers crossed. And feel free to forward.
