I agree with Tempting Cake suggestion, Emily Smith is brilliant.

My company can also help you if you are also looking for wedding favours. At 'It's All About The Wrapper' we design & produce personalised chocolate bars. You can choose a wrapper in our existing wedding range or alternatively provide us with a logo or photo to put on the wrapper - you can also use the chocolate bars as individual place names.

Good luck!

Check out http://www.thecakeembassy.co.uk/ - Timi makes amazingly detailed cake decorations; from traditional wedding cakes to themed designs. She has a kitchen near Clapham Junction you can arrange to visit.

Hi,
I'm not sure if you have found your wedding cake. I would highly recommend The Cake Sisters Cake Company based in Clapham. They make the most amazing cakes, I have had my daughter's birthday cake made by them for the last 2 years, I think they are real vaue for yor money and amazing looking. I suggest you check out their web site. http://www.cakesister.eu

Yes we got our cake from Waitrose and were very happy with it. It was a traditional three tier (but stacked ontop of each layer the American way and not on blocks). We had one layer of vanilla sponge, one of chocolate and one of fruit - so something to keep everyone happy and it cost £195. We got our florist to decorate it with ribbons and fresh flowers - which cost £20 and it looked fab! And also miles cheaper than alot of the cakes you can order from specialist wedding cake suppliers.

M&S also do similar cakes.

Hello,

My mum bakes traditional wedding cakes. Do you have a style and budget in mind? Contact me if you would like her number.

We ended up with something non-traditional from Patisserie Valerie, but I've heard good things about Waitrose cakes - and they don't charge as much as lots of specialist wedding suppliers.

Can anyone recommend where I could find a traditional wedding cake which is both delicious and not too expensive? I would love to hear anyone views.
