Help for refugees - local donation point

There have been a few posts on here asking for ways to help refugees. Here's a way the kind nappy valley community can help:

Following the closure of The Jungle Camp a few weeks ago, an outbreak of scabies has meant all the refugees bedding had to be destroyed. They desperately need new sleeping bags, sleeping mats and blankets. Some volunteers have got together to drive vans over. They will be travelling over on weds 20th April. If you would like to help, you can drop off donations of unwanted sleeping bags, sleeping mats and blankets at St Luke's Parish office (Ramsden Rd) M-F 10-12 or donate cash for supplies to be bought. They can only accept these 3 items as the collection centre in France can only cope with deliveries of limited items at a time because of the logistics of sorting etc. Thanks so much
