If you didn't have any luck finding your tutor yet, try
www.tutormapper.com. They have some very good local tutors listed.
They are a similar website to tutorfair.com but their tutors are all interviewed, DBS checked and agency registered, which is important.
I booked Tutorfair once and the tutor cancelled his session one hour before the appointment (through an email!) and I had nowhere to complain/totally wasted my time. This wouldn't happen with Tutormapper as the agency where the tutor belongs to would have replaced the tutor for the day.
If you really struggle to find anyone, PM me and I can recommend a lady who tutored our son toward 7+. Good luck!
