Hey there Sherms00

I've tried to contact you via email (via nappyvalley) but perhaps it hasn't gone through. Your experience sounds perfect, so if you're still interested, pls contact me via NVN's email system.

Thanks

Hi
I'm a qualified primary teacher with ten years experience and I'm currently on maternity leave. I have tutored children for many years and would be interested in taking on another session. I also live in Balham, which is very handy :)
If you haven't yet found a tutor and you are interested please let me know.
L

If you didn't have any luck finding your tutor yet, try www.tutormapper.com. They have some very good local tutors listed.
They are a similar website to tutorfair.com but their tutors are all interviewed, DBS checked and agency registered, which is important.
I booked Tutorfair once and the tutor cancelled his session one hour before the appointment (through an email!) and I had nowhere to complain/totally wasted my time. This wouldn't happen with Tutormapper as the agency where the tutor belongs to would have replaced the tutor for the day.
If you really struggle to find anyone, PM me and I can recommend a lady who tutored our son toward 7+. Good luck!

We are looking for a tutor or someone who can help two Y2 kids with general homework.

We envisage that you know the national curriculum and can provide general help, going over difficult topics and ensuring that they feel confident by even looking ahead sometimes.

They are both good students, very able and (mostly) well-behaved.

Once a week, from 4ish for an hour

Based in Balham, SW12 and SW17

Pls contact me for more info
