I'm very interested to hear about this also as we may face the same dilemma next year!

After-school care at Putney High Junior School...?

by imalocal » Thu Jun 02, 2016 8:46 am

We are desperately trying to figure out what to do for after-school / wrap-around care for our little one who starts reception this year at Putney High.

The school does not offer anything in terms of after-school / wrap-around care beyond 3:30.

What do working families do in this situation? Are there childminders who will pick up from Putney High? We don't want to have an au pair living with us and a nanny would stretch the budget a little too much.

Logistically, it's also not the easiest school to get to from where we live. Would we be mad to turn down the place in favour of a (ofsted rated good) local school which has wrap-around care and which is 5 minutes walk away?

Thanks! Any ideas/suggestions very welcome.
