I agree - their service is not what it was. I always thought I was paying through the nose but getting a pretty good service - especially in an emergency. My recent experience showed me that, quite apart from any issues of competence, their customer service left a huge amount to be desired.

It seems there service is slipping. They live off their brand but we also had a dreadful experience. Boiler stopped working, evening call out, much teeth sucking and 400 quid later says we need a new one. Quotes us 13k (very unique issues!)

Have someone else round for a second quote, one hour and 90 quid all fixed and working fine. Apparently someone had disconnected the electrics so it wouldn't re-start. Pimlico refuse to accept it was them!

What are my options here? Seems trading standards don't have enough teeth.

We've always used Brad from Hamilton group and he's great. Very reliable, honest and will get the job done. He replaced all our water and boiler system and it works like a charm. Also does emergency call outs and lighting/electrics. A good one stop shop. He's a local dad too.

Have just had a spectacularly disappointing experience with Pimlico Plumbers and would like to be prepared for the next "emergency" (am covered for on-emergenceies). Can anyone recommend a 24/7 call out plumber with emergency response please?
