Dear all
I am posting on here to try and help find a lovely family for our nanny. We have known her for 20 years, she looked after my sister's twins (from birth til they were 3, alongside my sister), my cousin's daughter (from birth to approx. 6 years old, sole care), my son (from birth until 2 years - sole care), she then returned to Brazil to look after her grand-daughter) and she's just finishing with us as she's been with my daughter from day 1 until now (5 months - again sole care, and has slept with her every night since she was born).
Our nanny is in her early 50s, trustworthy, incredibly hard working, does all our cleaning, cooking, shopping, laundry & general looking after the house, and is brilliant with babies and children. Her English (even though she's been here for 20 years) is patchy, so I wouldn't say a perfect English speaker. She's the most patient person with children I've ever come across. She's flexible to live in or out (she's been live-in with us). She respects our privacy and knows when to pop to her room or join us for meals etc. If I could keep her for life I would, but sadly we can no longer afford her (even though she is very reasonable regarding pay).
If you're a wonderful family with young children please do be in touch and I can fill you in/answer any questions you might have.
I am so keen to find her a lovely family and good job because she is such a wonderful, kind, caring, honest and hard working person.
Best
Lilly
