I would highly recommend the high quality electric remote car's at Hobbyking.com. My little one jess has had hers now for just over a year and is still working reliably, (Her dad get's a lot of fun out of it too, lol). I hope this helps.

I bought one in Argos recently. They had a ferrari and a porsche. About £10 or so each. My little one loves it.
