I have actually just responded to another dentist post regarding the price of crowns and saw this one about children's dentists... I have not yet taken my children to the new 'The Dentist' in Balham (on the junction opposite Waitrose car park) so can't really say for sure - but I know one of the dentists there has children so it wouldn't be a standing start - its a fantastic surgery.

I would personally recommend Dr Katherine Wicksteed at Dental Clinique in Balham.
She teaches Paediatric Dentristry at King's College.
She has a wonderful manner with children. My child has enamel hypoplasia so requires more frequent check-ups than the norm.

Hi there , I would recommend Ten Dental either in Clapham or Balham, Anika is great with kids. I would not recommend Clapham South Dental as my daughter of 3 at the time had a bad experience there, total lack of experience when it came to emergency children's dental care!

Caihoime at confidental clinic St. John's road is fabulous with children. I'm an orthodontist and I take my daughter to see her. Good luck

Clapham South Dental- really good and patient with little ones who don't want to open their mouths!

Grateful for any recommendations please. I know most dentists would be ok but my son is super fussy around his teeth so anyone specialised in dealing with children would be super helpful.
