HI
Thank you again to all those who suggested eating options after a play at the Polka. We chose Made in Italy - not too far from the theatre and quiet. Food was good, with plenty of choice, including gluten-free (slow-roast belly pork). I was especially impressed by the child menu, which included pizza (freshly made, looked delicious), milk and ice-cream. Success, so thank you everyone.

When we went to the Polka, we took two toddlers to Bills on Hartfield road, just off the Broadway. Highchairs, room for two buggies and a menu that they could order from. And it was big and busy enough to drown out the tantrums when boredom set in!

There are lots of restaurants nearby such as Pizza Express, GBC, Nandos and Chimichanga. All are child friendly.

Many thanks for both the recommendation and the warning. The Italian sounds ideal, just what we were looking for. Thanks again.

Alternatively, has anyone been to the Polka cafe? It's an easy option, although it'll probably be mobbed when we're going, as it's half-term.
DO NOT EAT AT THE POLKA!

It's a great theatre but the cafe is disappointing.

Hi

An easy one it is Made in Italy on the Broadway a little further up from the Polka, very nice genuine italian food, It is quiet spacious an nicely done, although the service is a bit slow so allow extra time.

Otherwise a bit further up you will find, Pizza Express, GBK, etc. no need to go all the way to the Village for a family meal.

I hope this helps

Hi.
Does anyone have suggestions for lunch with a 4 year-old near the Polka? We'd prefer somewhere on or near the Broadway, as Wimbledon Village is too far.

Alternatively, has anyone been to the Polka cafe? It's an easy option, although it'll probably be mobbed when we're going, as it's half-term.

Thanks.
