Thanks for posting this. We have lost Northcote Road Market, we should not lose another. They offer something different from the cloned shopping areas which are taking over.

Some of you may have seen this in Time Out today - there is a petition going to try to prevent Tooting Market from being destroyed in order to build a Crossrail shaft. This is shocking to me - people's livelihoods and a symbol of Tooting's vibrant international community are at stake.
