I used Uber book ahead for the first time a few weeks ago and was impressed by the service, you receive immediate confirmation at the time of booking, updates on the day, the driver was early and very courteous.

I have been using jewelcars.co.uk for 2 years now and they are good.

Used www.airporttaxis-uk.co.uk 3 times last year and all was OK.

We use www.southlondminicabs.com. They are affordable and reliable.

http://www.justairports.com/, used them for many years (drop-offs and pick-ups), never had a problem.

I use Uber as well and if you have look online you might get the first ride for free.

We use Herald Cars based in Wandsworth Common station. No problems so far and much cheaper than the big firms.

Can't risk Uber and my local minicab are very hit and miss

I have always used Simply Airports and then - last time - taxi was a no show and had to beg a neighbour to drive us !
