The Canary islands, in particular south of Tenerife and Gran Canaria are excellent during winter
Lovely beaches, amazing food, weather not too hot. Gran canaria has maybe slightly more stable weather and offers more to do. We've had a lot of rains in Tenerife one January. Plus quite cheap to reach and stay.
We rented a car and explored the entire island when my boys were 3 and 5. Always love to go back when I need an escape from the chill..

Hello,

Have you thought about Mauritius? This would be a great option for some winter sun without the jetlag! One of our favourite family friendly hotels is Heritage Le Telfair, which has a great balance of activity and relaxation. It is also the only resort on the island to have a baby club that accepts children of any age without charge. https://www.turquoiseholidays.co.uk/mau ... ort/offers

Another great option is Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman that ticks all the boxes for style, beach and adventure! Plus you are guaranteed winter sun within a seven hour flight from London. We actually have a great offer on at the moment including 2 free nights, 10% early booking discount and kids stay for free! https://www.turquoiseholidays.co.uk/oma ... bay/offers

Hope this helps! Let me know if you would like any further information or feel free to pop into our shop on the Northcote Road for a chat. :)

Best Wishes,
Chiara

What sort of holiday do you want - mostly beach/pool based, or more activities and day trips?

If beach/pool then I'd suggest Mauritius, for example Lux Belle Mare has a great beach and pool and free kids club for 3+. The flight is long but at 3 she would hopefully sleep (there are direct overnight flights) and watch movies for most of it.

If you want more activities and trips then how about Cape Town and the area around - lots of animals (there are some malaria free reserves safe for young children) and wonderful landscapes.
