We had all our radiators flushed and rebalanced and it did make a difference. Some of them are 10 years old , some were newbir not heating properly (the heat was uneven)
The plumber who did it was very good, he came in for an assessment and then quoted me for the job
We paid 450£ for flushing through 14 radiators it took a whole day

We had 3 radiators replaced yesterday morning, it took a couple of hours, the mess was minimal & the cost fairly low. We noticed a difference in heat straight away so worth doing if you have very old ones - ours were probably over 20 years old

My radiators are not working correctly. I had a firm out who basically said they could be rebalanced in the interim but longer term they needed to be either drained/flushed or totally replaced.

The rebalancing didn't really work and we are consequently freezing.

I was not hugely impressed with the first firm I called out.

Two questions:

1. Does anyone have any recommendations for firms which would be good for flushing / replacing radiators?

2. Also, any views on how well flushing works? These radiators are old, and basically are so full of sediment / rust (so said the first firm) that they need a major flush. Is it worth it or just better in the longer run to get them replaced? How big of a deal is this?
