I am a qualified bookkeeper and I trained with idealschools who provide training remotely so send you the manuals, provide exercises that you return plus mock exams. The support is excellent and you can ring the tutors if you get stuck and there is a closed facebook forum for all the students where you can help each other and ask lots of questions. The first level which gives you basic bookkeeping is ICB02M ICB Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping (Manual) and more information can be found on
https://www.idealschools.co.uk/icb-book ... ookkeeping. The advantage is of this type of course is that it is formally recognised. If you would like to discuss it further give me a call. Good luck.

Hi there
I recommend pitmans at Clapham South and you can then do it in the hours that suit you if you want to go in to the offices or from home

Hope that helps

Has anyone been on a good basic book keeping course lately or able to recommend one?

Thanks!
