I would also like to second the one just past Carphone Warehouse. I've been going to him for years. We should all support him because it's a family-owned local business. The man said his dad was running that same store in the same spot for 30 years before he took over. Let's hope he doesn't have to close in the future because of increased rental rates.

On lavender hill is a really good guy and quite cheap. His shop ( laundry and keys replacement) is opposite police station

I can second Julian's recommendation of the St. John's Road cobblers. They have done a good job on they work I've taken to them in the past and are very friendly and helpful to boot (excuse pun!).

I think they are called the "Quick Heel Bar".

@juliantenniscoach thanks for the recommendations, I'll give the shop next to Carphone Warehouse a whirl and report back if any issues.

I have used the place just on St John's Road past Carphone Warehouse. They resoled a pair of shoes for me and did a good job. There's a shoe shop at Clapham South opp Marks & Spencer that do a good job.

Hi there

Does anyone have a go-to Cobblers based around Northcote Rd that they would recommend? I have found that the quality (and price you pay) can vary wildly!

Many thanks in advance
