Very exciting time, congratulations! We have a Market Research business based in Clapham Old Town and would love to help a local start up - you could use our viewing facility for the focus groups free of charge. We can also help recruit people for you if you need too or facilitation/moderation of the groups themselves. PM me if it's still something you'd like to do!

Hi
I started a business from start up which grew into a successful business. Would be happy to give some ideas and advice.
Depending on product you may be able to get a focus group together yourself.

Hi, I worked in market research for many years, and founded a start-up a few years ago. We now have another business working to help starts-ups - go to guy. Would love to talk to you to see if I can help. Tina

Hi
This is a great book...

https://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Business-R ... 129200374X

http://www.newbusinessroadtest.com/

It's actually written by a chap who used to teach Mr NVN at business school and I know a lot of people that have used it.

John Mullins is one of those people that have made the switch from the business to academic world so he has some incredible first hand experience of succeeding (and failing)!

Let me know if I can help more - I'm sure Mr NVN would be happy to chat more if it might help?

Good luck!

Market Research/focus group for Start Up

My husband (& I) are launching a new business. Start up businesses are very new to us and we feel that we need some critical input from potential customers about how attractive the product is.

Two questions really:

- can anyone recommend focus group/market research company to help us with this
- does anyone have any personal experiences of starting a new business and how you ascertained the product's attractiveness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
